If you're considering the North Western (NW) postcode district as your new home then you should know that it was one of London's original postcode areas and is located from the centre of London, moving north-west. It contains the Boroughs of Camden, Westminster, Barnet, Brent, Islington and Harrow. It is made up of several smaller postcode areas that were introduced as an effort to improve street signs and mail delivery, as well as make navigation and travel easier and more accurate. NW5 is one of these smaller section and encompasses Kentish Town, and parts of Tufnell Park, Dartmouth Park and Gospel Oak, all of which are in the Boroughs of Camden or Islington and use the post town address of LONDON. It is bordered by the NW1, NW3, N6, N7 and N19 postcode areas, so this means that Camden Town, Marylebone, Swiss Cottage, Primrose Hill, Highgate, Holloway and more are close by.
