The London region is home to many things; UK politics, art, fashion, history and more and soon it could be home to you. Choosing the right place to live is important because with all these great things here you need to find the one that fits you. One place deficiently worth a look is the W postcode area.
The Western and Paddington postcode district is responsible for the Westminster borough and parts of the Kensington & Chelsea, Camden, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Hounslow and Brent Boroughs. The area starts at the centre of the London and then moves westward besides the River Thames. In order to improve services such as mail delivery, navigation, travel and streets signs, each postcode area was split into multiple subdivisions. There are currently twenty-six for the W postcode group ranging from W1 to W14, with the former including numerous spin-offs in itself.
W7 is one of these areas and covers Hanwell and Boston Manor, both of which are in the Borough of Ealing and use the post town address of LONDON. Nearby postcode districts include W13, W15 and the Middlesex region, which each contain places such as Enfield, Harrow, Wembley and Ealing. Houses in the W7 area are well priced because it is on the edge of the London region. Flats start at around £207,000 and increase to a maximum of about £376,000 for one to four bedrooms. A single bedroom house costs approximately £225,000 going up to roughly £598,000 for five bedrooms.
It is a suburban area that is noted for its open spaces. Houses types in the area include Edwardian or Thirties semis with garages, Victorian cottages, Edwardian houses with gardens backing on to the river, redbrick estate of flats and houses, the Golden Manor estate that features the most luxurious homes in the area, popular three and four bedroom semis and more. Open spaces here include Osterley Lock, Brent Lodge Park, Bunny Park nature reserve and Elthorne Park, which hosts the annual Hanwell Festival. Theses all include facilities for sport and leisure such as tennis courts and more. Other amenities include The Environmental Centre, Brent Valley Gold Course, cruises along the canal that stretches from Alperton to Little Venice and more. There is only one tube station here but it is only a few stops from Heathrow Airport. There are town main railway stations in the area and the M4 runs through here. There are also plans for new additions to the public transport service. W7 has connections with people such as Isambard Kingdon Brunel, who designed the Wharncliffe Viaduct, and Charlie Chaplin who attended the former Central District School.
