It’s not usually a good idea to try and do removals on your own. Lifting, manoeuvring and transporting heavy furniture items is a first class ticket to a bad back, and increases the risk of serious injury. It is always sensible to call on the help of professionals who will be highly trained and experienced, and will ensure that your items are safely transported and delivered with minimal fuss.
Man and Van is a removal company based in the RM3 postal area. We offer a friendly and personal removal service and can handle a full range of removal and delivery jobs, from individual items to entire house moves. Our workers work efficiently but carefully and sensitively enough to ensure that your goods are well protected, and given our enviable experience, we will always manage to fit the biggest items through the narrowest of doorways. We will commission the correct vehicle and a sensible number of workers to ensure that costs are kept low, whilst maintaining the excellent service we provide.
Our company also serves commercial customers and we can supply a prompt and efficient courier service when required. No destination is too far for us to go, and no load is too small or too large. Our staff work flexible hours to ensure that your needs are met. If you need help dismantling or rebuilding delivery items, this is something we can do for you and we are able to supply you with boxes to help you pack things safely.
Our company serves the RM3 postal area, which includes the town of Romford and the suburbs Harold Hill, Harold Wood and Noak Hill. Romford used to be a centre of manufacturing, and a predominantly industrial town but over time it has become amalgamated into London. It is however a busy and thriving shopping and leisure centre and locals will tell you that the nightlife is every bit as good as you would expect in the Capital.
Shoppers will be in awe of the town’s high quality shopping centres, including the Liberty Shopping Centre, retained from the 1930s but recently revamped, the Mall and the Brewery. Romford plays host to a high ranking ice hockey team, Romford Raiders, who play their home fixtures at Romford Ice Arena, which is open to skating enthusiasts. Romford Greyhound Arena is one of very few remaining dog tracks in the South-east of England and if you are not into shopping or sport, there is a huge multiplex cinema to keep you occupied.
Romford and Havering are the homes and/or birthplaces of many household names including the boxer Frank Bruno, the singer Jessie J, footballers Joe Cole and Ray Parlour and the music group Underworld, who famously performed the track “Born Slippy”, the soundtrack for the film Trainspotting. The area does have some historic roots as well. Havering was King James I’s hunting lodge back in the 1600s and local history enthusiasts should make the trip to the Upminster Tithe Barn of Nostalgia, which is a fascinating museum exhibiting artefacts that relate to the history of the region.
