WC1B's proximity to Central London makes it a popular place to live as is evidenced by the house prices. Most of these are from the 1930s onwards and include mansion like homes. Many of the apartments here are above commercial premises, especially the case with university stores. Many of the standalone homes are from the Georgian era and are found near the Museum.

No other area in London can compete when it comes to parks and open spaces with the area boasting a large number. The British Museum  is one of the most visited spots in the UK and features exhibits from multiple time periods from all corners of the globe. Bloomsbury Theatre is also close by, as are numerous second-hand bookshops. Many conventional stores can be found here, with all the leading high street brands. Transport link here are impressive allowing for easy access to all of London.
