Houses range between approx. £859,000 and £3,822,000 for two to six bedrooms. EC1V itself covers the east of Finsbury and Moorfields Eye Hospital, both of which are in Islington and have the post town address of LONDON.

Finsbury features various different types of residences  including many flats and apartment blocks and boasts that it was the first place in the UK to have an Asian mayor. Landmarks here include the Tudor style Town Hall. City University London is based here. The Finsbury estate is nearby and is a large-scale housing area that features many apartment blocks. Exmouth Market is a central shopping area, Sadler's Wells Theatre is a long running and popular performing arts venue and Islington Local History Centre and Islington Museum are dedicated to recording the area's past. Moorefield's Eye Hospital  is the largest and oldest eye hospital in the world and is well known for it's work and research and acts as a place of training for post-graduate ophthalmologists, orthoptists, optometrists and nurses.
